It's already Monday here in Japan.
I feel like I am still in a "weekend mood", but trying to adjust myself with a cup of tea.

Here is my recent works for my shop.
My best friend is going to marry in this July.
She has been my friend since I was 16 years old. We met in high school and since then, she has been my soul mate.
So, it means a lot for me that she found somebody being together in rest of her life, and I want to design more wedding related item to celebrate her!

Hi my sweet readers,

How is your weekend going?
I just have been at home whole weekend with my husband, and
cook three times a day x2 days = So tired of being in a kitchen:(
Well, at least I cooked his favorite breakfast, and got a lovely comment, it's okay. (Even though he didn't really like ramen I cooked tonight...)

On the other day, I wrote about this dress by Urban Outfitters, and today, I found my friend made this dress!!(<-Click, please!!!) She knows what I want:D I was so happy to see it. Gotta ask her more about it. Also she introduced this heart-cut dress which was exactly the one I was imagining!
Well, this is perfect, what else can help me? I should try to make one!

Reconstructed my ugly skirt...

Hi ya,

I had been thinking to do something with this damn ugly skirt. I don't remember who gave me this skirt, but anyway, I didn't like it and had never worn it before. Since it's hard for me to throw away clothing can be recycled, it was shoved in my closet.

Well, look at the picture. I just cut off the skirt in half, and used the bottom part for this time.
Luckily, there was a cute tartan-checked fabric which looks perfect with this skirt, I made the waist part.
It wasn't that hard, and I am pretty satisfied with the result.
I learned how to make a waist part here. It's Japanese, but the image helps a lot to understand.

My week so far...

Hi there!

How is your week? It was snowing here on Monday and I was happy to see the bright sky in snowing night. Also my husband found a snowman @ near park, and he emailed me. It was such a cute thing! He is not the person who contact me often, but snowman was something important for him:)

There was a fun thing on the next day.
Me and my dear friend Chie (Vivat Veritas) went to Tokyo Stitch 'n Bitch in Shibuya for the first time. I had known about the meetup group over years, but didn't made myself attend... But since I have a kint & crochet buddy now, I wanted to give it a try!

It was one of a cool meetup group in Tokyo I think. There were about 15 people there, and everybody had needles or hooks and working on each lovely project. The restaurant is called Respekt Cafe. We were both impressed how big potion they served. It was an American size;D

I also went to Marunan Craft shop in Shibuya. Bought some polycotton and wool fabrics for my dress making and organza for making accessories. I think the shop is a lot nicer than one in Nippori only about service. The price is still little more expensive than Nippori. But the gentlemen works there helps customers a lot. You can even ask what you should use for the project or how long fabric you will need, etc. They are very kind, and I will come back for sure.

I hope my sewing skill will be better and make a dress like this by summer.

My new hair and dress

Hi there,

I am excited to show you my new hair style!

Here I am!

It was my first time to bleach my hair like that. I love the red part. It's like a strawberry syrup:D Sweet!! So now I am ready for Valentine's day!

Another thing is the dress I am wearing in the picture is my first dress I sewed!
Fabric is made by 50% Linen, 50% Cotton which means it's good for summer.

It was kind of hard and had so much steps, but I guess I enjoyed it.
Sewing clothing is totally a new thing for me. I hope I can arrange the original pattern and make it sexier next time:)

Time to try a new hair style

Here, I am considering my new hair style.
My favorite color is red, but am interested in purple and blue streaks.
I guess I will try asymmetry again, but this time, I will cut my back hair really short so my neck may look longer than as it is.
