Please let me know of any good applications.
This is my latest sewing work. Fabric is made by linen and rayon.
This one has no zipper or buttons, so it was pretty easy to make. When you make ruffled skirt like this, cut fabrics 1.5 times longer than the row above;) (That's what I learned this time.)
I wasn't sure if it should have been this length or maxi, but when I put it on while I was making, this knee length was just so pretty and I stopped using other 2 rows. I may add them later though.
Sorry about my silly face expression.... :p
Next project will be my friend's clothing. Remember this fabrics she got? She wants blouse and I want..... still dunno.
I hope rest of your weekend will be great enough;)

I am so happy to be able to read more about you these days!!! <3
ReplyDeleteThis dress is so beautiful and simple. I love that you are going for a more basic style these days. Me too, should add more basics to wear everyday to my closet.
P.S.: What I always wanted to ask! How was the tea?! It is one of my favorites. :)
@netteThank you so much Annette! I'm getting back to "everyday sew mood" and am happy that I still have a passion! The tea was so awesome! I actually had most of them already;) Thank you so much!!
ReplyDeleteHi Ophelia
ReplyDeleteAndroid is awesome, there are lots of apps that are really good, and free too!
I use Kitchen timer a lot when I cook- you can have 3 different timers at the same time so it's great when you have several things cooking on the go! Tape ruler is another one- very useful if you want to measure anything but haven't got a measuring tape available. I love Amazon Kindle as it is the same as having a mini kindle- I have downloaded lots of classical books for free and they should come in handy whenever I'm stuck somewhere (like in an airport). Finally Snap to me allows you to take a picture from your phone and send it directly to your inbox- no need to plug in your phone to a computer anymore!
This is just a couple of apps I found, I find them useful so hope you find them useful too!
xx

ReplyDeleteI love the dress Ophelia!! And I like it sans the two last rows :)
ReplyDeleteI read nette's comment and must concur that I am too for the more basic things since someone wise said (and I love to quote this) "Simplicity is the core of Elegance"!
